In this role, you’ll be a vital part of the legal support team gathering essential records, streamlining case management, and helping clients access the care they need. Your behind-the-scenes contributions will ensure cases move forward efficiently and professionally.
Strong English communication skills and prior U.S. law firm or U.S.-based legal experience are required.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Document Request and Collection
- Draft and send customized document requests to clients, vendors, and third parties
- Tracks requests and ensures timely submissions
- Maintain accurate logs of requested and received documents
- Ensures documents meet formatting and content requirements
Document Management & Organization
- Organize case documents in cloud-based systems
- Sorts and categorizes documents by type, date, or case
- Create searchable document databases
- Archives outdated or completed documents
Client and External Coordination
- Communicates with clients regarding needed documentation
- Follow up on pending or incomplete submissions.
- Coordinates with external providers
Document Retrieval
- Conduct public records searches
- Execute subpoenas and formal records requests
- Navigate complex medical records departments
What We’re Looking For:
- Mandatory: Experience working in a U.S. law firm or U.S.-based legal company.
- Excellent English communication skills,both written and verbal(C1 level or higher)
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
- Ability to review and understand legal and medical reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Suite
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various backgrounds and professional competencies
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in your work
- Willing to work in US time zones
System and Work Setup Requirements:
- A stable and high-speed internet connection preferably 50 MBPS or higher with backup in cases of power interruption or service provider issues.
- Own Desktop or laptop (not a tablet or chromebook), and a processor of Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 3 / 2013 Mac equivalent or higher; Windows 10 or above / Catalina 10.15 or newer; with up-to-date web browsers, and security software, 500GB/128 SSD storage.
- Headset/earphone with noise cancellation and webcam at 720p or higher resolution.
- A designated, quiet, and well-organized workspace free from distractions to facilitate focused work.
